World Chocolate Day.

What could be better than a day which celebrates CHOCOLATE?!?

On this day in 1550, chocolate was first brought to Europe. This evening could be the day that the England football players bring ‘us’ into contention to play in the Euro 2020(1!) football final…

Now I’m not normally a football fan, but I am patriotic, so here’s hoping! If we win tonight’s match, I might have a cheeky bar of choc to celebrate. If we don’t win tonight, I’ll definitely be delving into a tub of endorphin-inducing Ben & Jerry’s (other ice creams are available…) and curling up with a decent book to get my head back into a ‘happy place’.

Chocolate bars…chocolate cake…chocolate biscuits…chocolate mousse…chocolate ice cream…
